• A Ph.D. degree was awarded to Dr. Baneswar Baro, Associate Professor, Department of Anatomy, Diphu Medical College, for the thesis topic "Histology of Human Pancreas - A Cadaveric Study" from Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences in Allopathic Medicine on 25/01/2024, under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Usha Sarma, MD, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Pathology, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, Guwahati-32, Assam.

• Raja Agarwal won Second Prize in the inter-medical college undergraduate essay writing competition in the 5th ANSACON, 2023, held at Jorhat Medical College, Jorhat.

• Pragyan Jyoti Borah won Third Prize in the inter-medical college debate competition in NMOCON, 2023, held at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalyani.

• Jashneel Baruah won the Inter-College Chess Tournament "Battle of Minds" at Eternia, organized by AIIMS, Guwahati, on 2/12/2023. He was awarded a trophy and a cash prize.

• Raja Agarwal and Jintee Das won First Prize in the inter-medical college Poster Making Competition in the 4th ANSACON, 2022, held at Diphu Medical College, Diphu.
