2/1/2025- Monthly Maternal Death Review Meeting
17/1/2025- Results of 2nd MBBS Professional Examination(DEC,2024) declared. Jehrin Sultana Barbhuyan got 6th rank with honors marks in Pathology, Microbiology and Phamacology. Moreover, 15th and 20th rank holders from DMCH, Again total 19 students got honours marks in Pathology, 6 in Microbiology and 3 in pharmacology subjects.

16/02/2025- Dr.Baneswar Baro, Associate Professor, Department of Anatomy received the award of “Best Teacher in Research and Training” on the Foundation Day of SSUHS at the Auditorium Hall of GMCH,Guwahati
24/2/2025- Results of 3rd MBBS Professional Examination (Part-I)(January,2025) declared. Raja Agarwal got 10th rank with honors marks in Community Medicine.

2/03/2025- Free Health Camp with theme: “Reaching the Outbreak” organized by DMCH,Diphu in collaboration with District Health Society, West Karbi Anglong at Jirikindeng Playground in which around 400 patients were attended

5/6/2025- Pharmacovigilance Committee Meeting organized by Deptt of Pharmacology.
12/6/2025- With different series of events “National Surgeons Week -2025” organized by Diphu Branch of Assam State chapter of the Associations of the Surgeons of India from 9th June to 15th June 2025. A live Endoeurological Workshop at Major OT complex DMCH comprising of PCNL and URSL which was led by Dr. Pranjit Dhekial Phukan. A total of 7 cases were performed.
12/6/2025- CME on “Recent Advances in Cardiac Surgery and Thyroid Surgery” organized by Department of Surgery. The topic of “New Advances in CTVS” by esteemed surgeon cum speaker Dr. Suraj Kumar Pradhan and “ Carcinoma of Thyroid and its Management” by Dr. BC Roy .

12/7/2025- DMCSU’25-26 organized a blood donation camp drive by students of DMCH and the camp was named as “Mission Transfuze”
14/7/2025- Karbi Students Association(KSA) Central Executive Committee organized a blood donation camp in celebration of 66th Birth Anniversary of the association KSA and total 30 units of blood were collected
16/7/2025- DMCSU’25-26 organized a demonstrative session on BLS(Basic Life Support) in collaboration with department of Anaesthesiology
19/7/2025- Jyoti Sikha Choudhury, a very talented final year student breathed her last around 10.20 am at private nursing home in Guwahati and a condolence meeting were held immediately in the old library hall of the college.

29/7/2025- DMCSU’25-26 organized “World ORS Day” in collaboration with Department of Paediatrics
August,2025:
3/8/2025- Diphu Medical College participated and won in a quiz competition during APCON2025. The team got the chance to represent North East Sates in regional round as well as compete with teams from West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Chattisgarh. The two members in the team were Satyabrat Mazumdar and Suchismita Biswas.
6/8/2025- Free Health Check Up camp at Police Reserve, Diphu
6/8/2025- Red Letter Day for DMCH,Diphu. Hon’ble CEM KAAC inaugurated the MRI Machine in the deptt of Radiology. It was a coincidence that the birthday of Hon’ble CEM KAAC Dr. Tuliram Ronghang on the same day that celebrated by the Deptt of Radiollogy during the inauguration time.
7/8/2025- World Breastfeeding Week observed from 1st to 7th August by RHTC, Manza in collaboration with Department of Community Medicine for awareness on breastfeeding among pregnant and lactating woman at Tichom gaon and Adishoibam Ayushman Arogya Mandir

14/8/2025- DMCH, Diphu took pledge to mark the 5th year of “ Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” in OPD Complex and Academic Block

5/9/2025- Celebration of Teachers’ Day among students and teachers of DMCH
10/9/2025- Observation of World Suicide Prevention Day with theme” Changing the Narrative on Suicide: Start Conversation” organized by Deptt of Psychiatry and conducted a slogan writing competition
17/9/2025-Celebration of Lord Viswakarma Puja. A Blood Donation camp “Seva Hi Samarpan- Roktore Gorha Bondhaon” conducted at Bokajan, a mega blood donation drive and in the casuality department of the college, a health camp also organized among all the female employees of the college to commemorate the 75th birthday of Hon’ble PM of India.
18/9/2025- DMCSU organized “Srimanta Sankaradev Janmotsav Celebration” for the first time in the Central Library,DMCH with few special events like Gamucha Painting Competition, Nagara Naam, Borgeet and Naam Prasanga performances among students and faculties

25/9/2025- Results of 2nd MBBS Professional Exam(Aug,2025) declared and Aadima Rishita Bordoloi, Subhasish Chakraborty, Abidur Rahman, Rajdeep Paul, Mayank Kumar, Satyabrata Majumdar Kashyap, Supriti Bora got 1st, 2nd ,3rd, 5th ,8th ,9th,10th ,10th ,10th rank respectively with honors marks in Pathology, Microbiology and Phamacology. Moreover, 11th ,12th 13th ,14th ,15th 21st ,23rd 24th 26th 29th (2 students same rank)and 30th (2 students same rank)rank holders from DMCH, It is special result that total 57 students got honours marks in Pathology, 11 in Microbiology and 10 in pharmacology subjects.
26/9/2025- Received the marks of EQAS exam of the Deptt of Microbiology that secured 88 out of 90.

6/10/2025- Dr. Dharamsing Timung, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine received the “Young Promising Talent API Award”- in the EZAPICON-2025 held at Kolkata where 12 states were participated.

14/11/2025- Deptt of Medicine organized a diabetes awareness program on the occasion of World Diabetes Day with a theme “Diabetes and Well Being”. A Poster making competition also held among students on that occasion.

28/11/2025- In the Inter College Festival held in AIIMS, Guwahati. DMCH girls team of volley ball begged 2nd position as well as 1st and 3rd position in Arm wrestling, 2nd position in poem recitation. DMCH boys secured 2nd place in Arm Wrestling and Semifinals in Cricket.
29/11/2025- Armed Forces Day to be held in 7th December observed by Faculties buying 1 @ Rs. 100/- a picture of a lapel pin and shows honour of our soldiers of Indian Army.

14/12/2025-API Assam State Chapter awarded API Diphu the 3rd Best Branch for the consecutive 2nd year specially to the Department of Medicine in the 34th APICON Assam,Nagaon
17/12/2025- Results of 3rd MBBS Professional (Part-I) Exam(Nov,2025) declared. Asmita Debnath got 6th rank with honors marks in Community Medicine. Moreover 5 students ranks are within top 20 ranks, 28 positions in first 50 ranks and 21 got honours marks.
