General Medicine Department
About
The Department of Internal Medicine is a vital part of any hospital, playing a crucial role in patient care, medical education, and institutional reputation. At Diphu Medical College (DMC), the department functions as the backbone of healthcare services, catering to the population of Karbi Anglong and its neighboring regions. The department is dedicated to 24x7 healthcare delivery, academic excellence, and innovative medical research.
Beyond routine medical care, the department has been at the forefront of tackling health crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic. It has actively engaged in training programs, outreach initiatives, and academic seminars to enhance medical knowledge and preparedness. The team has also been instrumental in spreading awareness and ensuring the implementation of safety protocols to curb the spread of the virus.
